Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress and rapper. She began modeling when she was 13 years old . Her first acting job came at 15. Her roles in films and television shows followed. Cornish is most well-known for her role as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth The Golden Age', the titular heroin addict in "Candy," Lindy in the sci-fi thriller "Limitless" and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star". On television, she is famous for her roles in the series 'Outriders', as well as 'Marking Time'. As a rapper and a singer, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk". She was born in New South Wales, and was raised with three siblings and a brother. Her parents divorced shortly after she turned 16. Although the divorce was difficult for her, Abbie managed to get over the trauma by focusing on her upcoming career. Abbie is an Australian beauty is a great guitarist and pianist, but she loves acting more than everything else. Cornish, who is a strict vegan believes in animal rights. Cornish also occasionally contributes to animal rights organizations. Abbie Cornish was birthed in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. She is the daughter of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actor. In her romantic life, she once dated Ryan Phillippe from 2006 to in 2010.
