Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 was an American actress , best known for her role in 24 as well as the voice work that she did for Tess in the game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. In her youth she competed as an Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching started her acting career with an appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, before moving on to appearing as a guest on such shows as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007 she had playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital. Additionally, she worked at theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She also appeared as an episode regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was revealed in the story trailer that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would be playing the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
