Zooey Claire Deschanel (born 17 January 1980) was an American model, actress and singer. Her first film appearance was in Mumford (1999) as well as she was a character in Cameron Crowe's film Almost Famous (2000). Deschanel is known for her slapstick performances in comedies like The Good Girl (2002) and The New Guy (2006).
