Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. The 30th of March, 2012, she will be the expert on TV, executive and co-producer of the DIY NETWORK special entitled LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Bonnie's debut book, EXTREME WEEKEND was published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. She also covered lifestyle, entertainment and other subjects as Special Assignment Reporter for on a daily basis while she was in Boston. She worked at WFOR-TV as a weather forecaster on weekends before moving to WB56. She's held various meteorology, report, and TV positions. They include News 12 Long Island - a 24 hour cable news TV network and WXII-TV, which is an NBC affiliate based in Winston-Salem. She also worked for an affiliate of the CBS network within New York City as a frequent meteorologist filling in on The Saturday Early Show.
